Do you have a well-loved piece of furniture that needs an update?
Recently remodeled and your existing furniture isn’t quite right?
Picked up a gem that needs a makeover?

Captiva Home Decor is a small, family business offering professional custom furniture painting based in Berlin, Massachusetts. We use the highest quality products & finishes for incredible results. Dan & Kelly will work with you to choose the perfect finish for your furniture and style. Pricing depends on project and finishing desired.
Here’s the process:
1. Send us some photos of the piece, measurements & any ideas you have of how you would like it updated (no need to have decided on final color/finish at this point).
Inspiration photos are a perfect way to ensure that we are on the same page for color & finishing. For example, my idea of distressed furniture may be VERY different than yours! Review our prior work in the Gallery page or search on Pinterest for some pieces you like.

2. We will put together a base price to update your pieces and send it back, usually within 24-48 hours.

3. Next step would be to schedule a Color Consultation. This is where Dan and I come to view your furniture, identify any potential issues or repairs needed and discuss color & finish options. We will bring our sample box and color charts to determine the best ways to achieve the look you desire!
We could keep it simple with a one color finish or have some fun with our Specialty Finishes! One of our favorite upgrades is to strip the existing finish on a solid wood top, restain and top with professional grade lacquer for a classic look and ultimate protection.
Specialty Finishes include:
Multiple colors
Heavy Distressing
Dry Brushing
Color Washes
Dark Wax/Glaze
Metallics
Stencils
Lined Drawers
Blending
High Gloss
Stripping & Staining
Hardware painting or Replacement
Repairs
4. We typically are booked out 4-8 weeks and can secure your spot on the calendar with a 50% deposit, this could be collected after the Base Quote is provided or during the Color Consultation.
5. That’s it!
